Samsung MM-A900 tries to compete with the Motorola RAZR

Samsung MM-A900Competition is fierce in the cellular field. Samsung introduces its MM-A900 cell phone model, clearly designed to compete with the Motorola RAZR.

The MM-A900 is designed with audio in mind. It is capable of playing MP3 and downloading songs via Sprint’s EvDO network. The sound quality, however, is not reported to be very good. Even the sound quality during calls is said to be disappointing.

A nice feature of the MM-A900 is its text-to-speech, which allows you to say your text message rather that entering it on the keypad. I think it is a great idea as typing text messages on the numeric keypad can take some time. The text-to-speech feature is reported to have mixed results however.

The integrated digital camera is at 1.3 megapixels, which is pretty standard nowadays.

The MM-A900 is currently only available with the Sprint carrier.
