The Samsung SPH-A940 is a CDMA dual-band cellular phone. It is built on a flip phone frame, but you can also rotate the screen, giving it the aspect of a camera recorder.
It is a full-fledged multimedia phone, including a 2 megapixel digital camera with a 2x optical zoom, video recording capabilities and multimedia playback.
Although a 2x optical zoom is not much by itself, optical zooms are still rare in the mobile phone industry and I’m glad to see them becoming more common.
The SPH-A940 comes with a 32 megabytes TransFLASH memory card which you can upgrade for a bigger version.
